Kurt Wenner born in Ann Arbor, Michigan is an artist best known for his realistic street painting and chalk murals using a projection called anamorphosis. Anamorphosis is a distorted projection requiring the viewer to occupy a specific vantage point, use special devices, or both to view a recognizable image. It is used in painting, photography, sculpture and installation, toys, and film special effects. This coin (original picture called “Hell” is the first coin of the new coin serie “3d pavement illusions” in cooperation with the Artist Kurt Wenner.
