The four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
Ultra High Relief designed by H. R. Giger
Death, War, Disease, and Famine are called The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse as described in the last book of the New Testament of the Bible, called the Book of Revelation.
Swiss artist H.R. Giger, who designed the creature in Ridley Scott’s sci-fi horror classic „Alien,“ designed these exclusive extraordinary art-medals. Giger’s works, often showing macabre scenes of humans and machines fused into hellish hybrids, influenced a generation of movie directors and inspired an enduring fashion for „biomechanical“ tattoos. He broke down the barri-ers between their inner and outer worlds.“ My paintings seem to make the strongest impression on people who are, well, who are crazy,“ Giger said in a 1979 interview.
